Gather timely course feedback from learners with new notifications in Blackboard Learn
Published
Obtaining the most comprehensive and robust course evaluation data is extremely important for institutions in gaining a deeper understanding of learners, ultimately enhancing their overall learning experiences.
To continue to foster learner participation and enhance the visibility of course evaluations, Anthology® Evaluate and Blackboard® Learn now work closely together, offering more ways to engage and support learners in providing feedback about a course.
Thanks to the following new course evaluation notifications, now available in Blackboard Learn, we assist learners in understanding when to provide timely feedback and, simultaneously, we aid institutions in avoiding missing any valuable insights.
1. Calendar Notification
When checking the calendar, notifications are displayed to let learners know their course evaluation has opened and that it is time to provide feedback. Additionally, there is now a calendar event to let them know when their course evaluation is closing.
2. Activity Stream
The calendar notifications are also displayed on the activity stream, providing students with additional reminders to provide feedback.
3. Courses Tab
In the Courses tab, if a student has open course evaluations, they will see a slide-out panel reminding them to take the evaluation(s), along with a direct start link to easily provide their feedback (note that this option is only available for Learn Ultra clients).
With these new capabilities, we help institutions streamline the course evaluation process and simplify the collection of feedback directly from courses. In doing so, we reaffirm our commitment to providing dynamic, data-informed experiences to the global education community so that learners and educators can achieve their goals.
